Meet Cam!

  • Registered Counselling Therapist (RCT-C)

  • Registered in Nova Scotia

Hi! My name is Cam (they/them). I’m a queer and transgender person, social worker, and registered therapist candidate with over a decade of professional experience within community and mental health, supporting folks experiencing homeless, substance use, incarceration, and associated traumas.

As a therapist, I come to this work with the intention of providing an authentic, collaborative, and relational experience that supports your wellness as a whole. I am largely rooted in Internal Family Systems and Somatic perspectives but also draw from Dialectical Behavioural and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy modalities in session.

As a person, I have lived experience navigating gender and sexuality and love supporting folks in exploring elements of their identity further. I offer services to anyone wanting to further discover aspects of their identity like gender, sexual orientation, and self-worth, or who may want some support with relationships, communication, anxiety, depression, or in processing trauma. In session, you’re encouraged to show up in any form, assured that you will be met with warmth and affirming care.
