The Matching Process That Sets Us Apart

Unlike platforms that use automated matching, we take a personalized, human-first approach to pairing you with the right therapist.

Here’s how it works:

  1. Reach out to us.

  2. Book a complimentary consultation call with our Intake Coordinator.

  3. During the call, we’ll explore what you're looking for, your availability, preferences, and therapy goals.

  4. Based on that, we’ll recommend a therapist we believe will be the right fit.

  5. If it feels right to you, we can book your first session on the spot!

What If I Don’t Click with My Therapist?

We understand how important the client-therapist connection is. If your initial match doesn’t feel like the right fit, just let us know.

We’ll:

  • Help rematch you to another Risework therapist at no cost to you.

  • Cover the first session with your new therapist to give you the space to try again without added stress.

We want your therapy to feel right—and we’ll work with you until it does.
